Clouds of Glory:  Mural representing the coming of Christ on Clouds of Glory.

Picture
Orchid Phalenopsis:  This is one of a series of acrylic flower studies.  I love orchids because they hold their flowers for such a long time and can thrive in neglect.  But don't overwater or underwater.  Like the soul, it needs balance.  It is 16 x 20 canvas.

Picture
Elusive Luna:  Collage depicting a white Luna moth.  I have only seen it once in my life and this one was on the lawn at Westwinds Community Church, Jackson, Michigan.  Hence, it is elusive and hard to find.  Look closely.

Picture
Order out of Chaos:  Looking closely, you see the branches of the bonsai are Kanji characters chosen to represent hope, inspiration, harmony, spirit, love - things that require effort and thought.  Taking what is natural and training the form is like building character.  The globe of the earth is arising out of a "bubbly" universe where stars and planets, and entire galaxies form in certain spatial regions.  Though the stars look random, they exist in an orderly universe.  Creating a peaceful planet takes time, effort, patience, and skill.

Picture
Carnations: 2nd in a series on acrylic flowers, the carnation can often survive in less than optimum conditions.  Here it is growing in sandy and gravelly soil.  It is 16 x 20 canvas.

Picture
Columbine:  I bought the flower at a garage sale and it did beautifully this year.  The astilbe and hydrangea failed but the columbine did well.  It is an unusually unique plant that held its flowers a long time.  This is 3rd in the acrylic plant series - 16 x 20 canvas.

Lucky is a rabbit eating real four-leaf clovers from Herkimer, New York.  Lake Michigan is in the background.  Donated to Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary in Whittaker, Michigan.  Acrylic 16 x 20.

Picture
Backyard Hawk donated to Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary in Whittaker, Michigan. The picture represents the "greenbelt" of Ann Arbor, Michigan. 16 x 20 Acrylic.
